Walking Paths
The City of Sterling has over 17 parks, 5 with dedicated concrete walking paths! Pioneer Park, our largest city park, located on the West edge of town also has a wooded walking area! The Parks, Library, and Recreation Department is currently working to develope new paths and trails along our riverside property. The future of the trails and paths for the City is bright!

Overland Trail Recreation Area - A natural surrounding for walking, picnics, fishing - and dog friendly too!
Owners must be in control of their pets but leashes are not required. Dogs are also allowed to go swimming, but humans must remain on the shoreline.
