ADULT BASKETBALL: Registration begins in November. Games begin in January, 8 games, $250 per team
YOUTH BASKETBALL: Registration begins in September. Games begin in January, 6 games, $25 per player due to
Alsco generously donating t-shirts for participants.
ADULT SPRING VOLLEYBALL: Registration begins in January. Games begin in March, 8 games, $150 per team.
RACQUETBALL/WALLEYBALL (SPRING): Registration begins end of January. 8 games begin end of February.
Racquetball- $25 per player, Wallyball – $35 per team.
GIRLS WILDCAT YOUTH SOFTBALL: Registration begins in February. Games begin end of May.
*GIRLS WHIFFLE T-BALL (4 yr. old): 6 games, $30 per player
*GIRLS T-BALL (5/6 yr. olds): 6 games, $30 per player
*GIRLS STAFF PITCH (7/8 yr. olds): 6 games, $30 per player
*GIRLS FAST PITCH (9/10, 11/12, 13/14, 15/16 yr olds): 8 games, $30 per player.
ADULT SUMMER SOFTBALL: Registration begins in March. Games begin after Memorial Day in May.
*MEN’S DIVISION: 12 games, $425 per team
*CO-REC DIVISION: 8 games, $250 per team
ADULT FALL SOFTBALL: Registration begins in June. Games begin in August.

YOUTH VOLLEYBALL: Registration begins in May. Games begin in September. 6 games, $30 per player.

OPEN GYMS: Wednesdays during Adult Basketball, Adult Volleyball, (both seasons) and during RE-1 Valley Schools

All program fees are calculated on a minimum/maximum number of participants. If the minimum is not met for any given program, the program will be canceled. Refunds will be given if according to the City of Sterling refund policy.
How to Register
Registration for all programs is taken at Sterling Recreation Center, 808 Elm Street. For information concerning Sterling Recreation Division programs or activities call 970-522-7882.
This year, you can register your children using our registration forms or register online.
1) To register using a registration form: forms are available at the Recreation Center, all RE-1 Elementary Schools, Sterling Middle School and other area schools. They are also available at Pro Sports and at the Department of Parks, Library and Recreation Office in City Hall. The registration fee must accompany the registration form.
2) To register on-line: go to www.teamsideline.com/sterling. Simply make a Login Name & Password & follow the steps online to sign up your child for youth basketball! PLEASE REMEMBER, YOU HAVE NOT FULLY COMPLETED THE ONLINE REGISTRATION UNTIL THE RECREATION DIVISION RECEIVES YOUR PAYMENT!!
Inclement Weather Cancellations
Programs may at times have to be canceled due to inclement weather conditions. If cancellations do occur, the information will be made available by calling the Recreation Center at 970-522-7882. When possible, cancellations will be broadcast over K.S.T.C. 1230 AM; K.N.N.G. 104.7 FM or K.P.M.X.105.5.
During the course of the year certain areas of the building may be reserved for school activities. NJC and RE-1 classes are conducted throughout the year necessitating the closures. Signs are posted at the Recreation Center notifying the public of dates and times. We appreciate your understanding during these closures and feel it is a benefit to the youth of the community.
