Public Meeting Rooms are available. An application is required to reserve the room. Only three meetings can be reserved on the calendar at a time. Please check with the library for the most up-to-date COVID restrictions.

Copy Service is available. Copies are black and white only and are $0.10 for 8 1/2 X 11, $0.15 for 8 1/2 X 14, and $0.25 for 11 X 17. Double sided copies are counted as 2 copies. All mistakes must be paid for.

Internet Access- The library provides free Internet access on 21 computers. Users are limited to one hour when others are waiting. Those using the computers need a current library card in good standing. Wireless access is available by requesting a password at the circulation desk.

Printing from the computers are $0.10 a page, black and white pages only. Wireless printing is also available after creating an account using your email. Wireless print jobs must be picked up within 24 hours.

Play in the Park totes are available for check out at the front desk. Each tote contains all the ingredients to add fun and recreation to your family event. Each tote contains a variety of equipment, which can be used for multiple games. Please call the library for more information.

Interlibrary Loans are available for material not found in Sterling Public Library’s collection. This service is free unless the lending library charges for the use of materials or the request goes outside of Colorado. Any cost will be passed on to the borrower.

Information and Reference: Library staff will help answer questions of all types via email at library@sterlingcolo.com, telephone or walk-in service.

Book-a-Librarian is a service available to the public who need extra one-on-one help with a specific problem with a device or technology. This service requires a reservation.

A Free Legal Clinic is available for the public on the second Monday of each month from 2:00-3:30 pm. Everyone will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis. Volunteer lawyers are available via computer link to answer questions, help fill out forms, and explain the process and procedure for the legal issues in the areas of family law, civil litigation, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, veteran’s benefits, and civil protection orders. The volunteer attorneys do not represent you just because they help you at this clinic. This clinic is information only, and is no substitute for legal representation. You have the right to retain an attorney of your choice at any time, and are advised to do so.
