Adult Sports Information
The City of Sterling offers both competitive and recreational aspects of lifetime sports.
The City of Sterling currently offers women's competitive, intermediate, and recreational volleyball. In addition to women's volleyball we also offer Co-Ed recreational volleyball. Currently we run a fall season and a spring season for volleyball.
During the summer and early fall months the City of Sterling offers 2 adult softball seasons. Summer and Fall. Summer season typically starts in June with Fall starting in August. We offer Men's Competitive, Intermediate, and Recreational as well as Co-Ed Competitive and Co-Ed Recreational Leagues.
For those who are seeking more activity during the winter months the City of Sterling offers a Basketball League that typically runs from January to March. We currently offer Men's Competitive, Intermediate, and Recreational Leagues, as well as a women's league and a Co-Ed League.
For those who want to relive the glory days on the playground the City of Sterling Offers a variety of $50.00 leagues. These leagues are geared towards adults/teens with a participation age of 14 to begin competing.
How to Register:
Registration for Adult Sports is online ONLY. You can register your adult team using our registration online at www.teamsideline.com/sterling.
To register on-line: Simply make a Login Name & Password & follow the steps online. Currently we do not take payment Via teamsideline. All payments need to be mailed or dropped off at the Recreation Center.
ADULT BASKETBALL: Registration begins in the beginning of December. Games begin in January, $300 per team (click HERE for the Rules)
ADULT SPRING VOLLEYBALL: Registration begins mid January. Games begin mid March, $300 per team. (Click HERE for the Rules)
ADULT SUMMER SOFTBALL: Registration begins mid March. Games begin the day after Memorial Day. (Click HERE for the Rules)

ADULT FALL SOFTBALL: Registration begins Mid July. Games begin in September. (Same rules as summer)

ADULT FALL VOLLEYBALL: Registration begins September. Games begin in October. (Same rules as Spring)

ADULT/TEEN KICKBALL: Registration begins beginning of July. Games begin in August. Games will be played at the City Softball Complex. $75.00 per team!

Inclement Weather Cancellations
Programs may at times have to be canceled due to inclement weather conditions. The Recreation Supervisor will determine this and phone calls will be made to the coaches of each team, and our Facebook page will be updated.
