Under this new program, a cadet will be sponsored by the City for P.O.S.T. certification. Initially candidates will be placed in a clerical capacity and upon successful P.O.S.T. completion and attainment of the Letter of Conditional Peace Officer Authority; employee may transition to fulltime Police Officer (Salary $1252.05 bi-weekly).The City will sponsor the cadet through the P.O.S.T.
