ADULT FALL VOLLEYBALL REGISTRATION UNDERWAY
The Department of Parks, Library and Recreation is currently accepting team registration for the Adult Fall Volleyball Program. The six game regular season will begin the week of September 6, and continue through the week of November 15, 2010. A double elimination post-season tournament will immediately follow the completion of the league schedule.
Teams may sign up for the following divisions: Monday’s Women’s “A”, Women’s “Upper B”; and Women’s “B” leagues. Tuesday Co-Rec. “A”. Wednesday Co-Rec. “Upper B”, Co-Rec. “B” and Thursday Women’s “C”. Leagues are filled on a first come, first serve basis and are expected to fill quickly. The due date to register is Wednesday, August 11, 2010, and the team entry fee is $135.00
The 4-on-4 league will be played on Thursdays. Team fee is $50. Teams in the 4-on-4 division are responsible for officiating their own matches. The division is available to men and women. The due date to register is Wednesday, August 11, 2010.
Interested persons can pick up the registration information at the Recreation Center, 808 Elm Street, upstairs City Hall or Pro Sports. For additional information, call Sue at the Recreation Division at 522-7882 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
