RECREATION CENTER OFFERS SWIMMING LESSONS

REGISTRATION FOR AMERICAN RED CROSS SWIMMING LESSONS

JULY 5 – JULY 16

 The Sterling Recreation Center will have registration for American Red Cross swimming lessons Monday, June 28 through Thursday, July 1.  This is the third summer session of swim lessons with twenty-four different classes offered.  Openings will be filled on a first come first served basis and are expected to close early in the week.  Registrations will only be accepted at the Sterling Recreation Center, 808 Elm Street.  Phone-in registrations are not accepted.

 Classes run Monday through Friday, July 5 through July 16.  Multiple class times are offered starting at 8:00 a.m. and running through noon.   

Private swimming lessons are also available throughout the summer!  Get your kids in for some one on one instruction!  Private lesson class dates and times are the same as regular swimming lessons but can they can also be arraigned at other times.  Private lessons cost $55.00 for 10 half-hour lessons or 5 hour lessons.  

Classes include a new Transition To Independence class for ages 2 and up through Level 6 ($22.00 for 10 half-hour lessons).  Private lessons ($55.00 for 10 half-hour lessons or 5 hour lessons).  An Adult Class will also be offered at 6:00 p.m. ($30.00 for 10 half-hour lessons).
